Greater Midrand Orlando Pirates Supporters branch was formed in 1996. It was officially launched by Orlando Pirates supporters desk on 27September 1997. When the branch was open we had 205 card carrying members by then of which we were supposed to have 100 members. It was opened by Mr Madia,Mr Segwai and Ausi Moipone there was Mr Mchunu from Tembisa branch also.

 

The first chairman of the branch was Super Mongala(till date). Every two years we are doing the elections of new committee in our branch.There are two members of the branch who have been retaining there position since the formation of the branch for six consecutive years.

 

They are chairman Mr Super Mongala and transport organizer Mr Dallas Ndou. We are traveling over South Africa and Africa supporting our team Orlando Pirates...
